EXCELLENCE AWARD CHOSEN STOCKS OF JERTE
Control Board PDO will Jerte Cherry award the 2011 Jerte Picota the actress and director Blanca Portillo.
"Premio Jerte Picota" will be delivered next April 11 at the conclusion of the XXV edition of the Gourmet Club International in Madrid in its own stand Denomination of Origin Cherry Jerte protected.
The award presentation is provided by the Second Vice President and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Innovation Ms. María Dolores Aguilar Seco

Picota Jerte Award is an award that recognizes the work of all those professionals of different areas that stand out, like Jerte Pillory, for its authenticity, quality and uniqueness. In previous years this award has gone to professional journalists as Juan Ramón Lucas and Pepa Bueno or chef Sergi Arola.
Blanca Portillo, is an actress from the 80's developed a career as full and solvent ranging from the interpretation, both theatrical and television and film, as well as directing and producing theater. Their professionalism and reliability to meet the guarantee professional and management challenges, since 2010, the Festival of Merida, the classical theater festival oldest held in Spain.
The "Jerte Picota Award" will be delivered next April 11 at the conclusion of the XXV edition of the Gourmet Club International in Madrid stand typical of the Protected Designation of Origin Jerte Cherry.
