Blanca Portillo is a renowned actress, but not only dedicated his professional career to interpretation, but also leads from the 90's working in theater direction and now reaching the stage production. In addition, the professionalism and quality of his work has also led him to direct the Festival of Classical Theatre, the oldest festival held in Spain, considered the most important of its kind.
Q: How do you live that identifies your career and your work with values \u200b\u200bsuch as quality and authenticity?
I live with excitement and I am proud to say that from my work, the truth, because it is an obsession for me to do things with quality and rigor and demand and find that excellence who never know if it will get, but at least there to be found. I'm thrilled, I'm very proud of that, because it is the particular job you do, but a way of understanding things.
Q: What would you say are the keys to achieving excellence in the workplace?
I think it has to do with the rigor, to know how to choose, to push yourself to yourself every day, do not expect the demand from the outside, you wear it, set the bar rather high. Do not do things by halves ever, but thoroughly and within the limits of your possibilities. I think that's what enables you to really work as it should be quality.
Q: Being at the forefront of the Festival of Merida is a challenge? What are your goals? Really
Mérida Festival is a challenge, no doubt, one of the most difficult challenges, and more attractive too, you might ask. It is a festival of a huge category in Spain, Europe and the world. I follow since I have "artistic use of reason, and I admire him. I try to get things done with rigor and quality. That's a little idea of \u200b\u200bthe Festival we have and that we have submitted to the Consortium and has been very well received thankfully. We have a festival that is very feast for the city and for everyone who pass by Merida, which becomes a reference point year, every summer we all say: Oh! I have to get tickets to Merida, put the put, I have to go to Merida.
Q: What does being a generator performance art?

Q: When you think of the Valley Jerte what is the first thing that comes to your mind?
is an unsettled issue, because I have an image, I do not know if it corresponds with reality, that has to do with an exuberant nature, with colors that are never or rarely see, I have the image of a place that should be particularly attractive and that makes you want to stay. Q: How do you like to enjoy the best cherries and picks, the Jerte?
