Notes International New Music Festival 2010 Monterrey Lately my interest has been conducting cultural events where you may be involved in classical music. My memory to graduate from the master is on classical music exchange between Mexico and France. Issue that gave me much food for thought and so on.
These months of research and writing little by little I have opened a window to browse sobe how to perceive the country in these areas. I never imagined that in Monterrey was a common age for this type of cultural events, which gave me great pleasure.
Last Friday we went to the opening of the International Festival of New Music at the Museum of Monterrey MARCO. We arrived 15 minutes before the program started. which gave us the advantage of choosing a decent place, although I must say that in my little experience in concerts and festivals in the central courtyard of the mark does not have ideal acoustics in my opinion, it is possible that the wrong is me.
Honestly, I'm glad that the audience is full, unlike the festival where I did my internship in France and others who attended in Dijon, I think that influences much The festival has little flow because it is free and is much sought here that the events are free. I'm not saying there are not doing this as well. But I think as a country that seeks to build a public culture, free events are important. In this case for educating the ear so you can go see other shows and view them with different eyes. If you are charged or not in the future it is very possible, but I think cost rates are sometimes stratospheric as those working in cultural organizations are expected to seek better pricing policies. Good for Monterrey and the audience for showing interest in such events, give me more pleasure than it did in all events CONARTE agenda.
